Spend a few days at Carolina Beach and meet this place. Easy to offend, but don't leave it. I got a fried chicken and pulled pork plate with roasted Okra and potatoes, with Gravy! Everything was so good, the chicken crisp and juicy and almost forgotten, hush puppies that were excellent. The service was fast and the location easy to reach, check it out

This quaint little barbecue spot on the main strip in Kure Beach is definitely worth a visit. I must say, the fried chicken was the best I've ever tasted! However, the pulled pork BBQ was a bit of a letdown, and the seating felt somewhat cramped. Overall, it was a decent experience. The food is served on polystyrene plates and in plastic baskets, which is what you’d expect from a small mom-and-pop establishment. The service was excellent; our server, who might have been the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. The macaroni salad was delicious, though some of the other sides were quite average. But if you try the fried chicken, you absolutely won’t regret it—it truly is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. We will definitely return to Kure Beach just for the chicken!

Hole at the wall place that serves good food, great variety, large portions. Very enjoyed the southern fried veggies...okra and squash. Homemade potato salad, small Hush puppies and sweet tea also. Pig meat and roasted chicken were great. None of the fried food options I had were fat. Very recommended.

It was our first visit, and we decided to try the walk-up window. The service was quick, and the food was fantastic. We ordered two BBQ pork plates and two BBQ pork sandwiches, and the portions of chopped pork BBQ were generous. They offered both the Eastern NC vinegar-based sauce and the Western red sauce.
