Thai Village - Carmel Valley

The Thai village is a rustic small place in the heart of the Carmeltal! The menu is quite extensive and there are many vegan options to choose from! My husband and I chose the green curry with tofu and vegetables, the pad Thai without egg and fresh vegetables spring rolls for an appetizer! The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste delicious! The staff is small only a woman and the cook!)and friendly! Would eat there again!

Beautiful comfortable interior and tables also outside. Server said they can make any dish vegan by substiting tofu or simply with vegetables. There is no milk is one of the dish-friendly coconut milk. They said they don't use fish oil. All dishes are made individually, so takes a few extra minutes. All vegetables were so fresh. We had added the Tom Kha soup with Tofu, Thai Pasta, and Yellow Curry with Tofu and all were REALLY delicious. We were thrilled to find this jewel. Updated by previous review on 2018-07-30

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. I stumbled upon Carmel Valley by accident when I noticed a bus line going there. I'm so glad I decided to stay on the bus and explore the area, leading me to this hidden gem of a restaurant. The outdoor terrace overlooking the valley was breathtaking. A kind fellow diner invited me to join her at her table, and it was wonderful to connect with someone who shared the same appreciation for the serene setting. I ordered the pumpkin curry with hot sauce, and it was delicious. There were other lunch specials on the menu that I would love to try next time. The staff, especially the female server and a gentleman from El Salvador, were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant made it one of my most peaceful dining experiences.

I really enjoy the Thai food at this restaurant. They offer gluten-free options for my friends who can't have gluten. The outdoor seating area is fantastic. I highly recommend coming here.
