The Hangout Cafe - Carmel Hamlet

The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was lovely, and there was enjoyable live music.

Cute but small place. Tables a bit too close for comfort given the pandemic but we went during the afternoon so it was empty. Nicely decorated. Server was very attentive. I ordered the grilled salmon it was a little rubbery but other than that we had a good experience.

Cozy place, decorated very tastefully, plenty of parking, friendly and attentive service, nice menu and v good food and drinks. Will go back.

My husband and I visited on a Thursday night and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is charming, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the shrimp, while my husband chose the steak, and both dishes were incredibly delicious! The tostones were also exceptional! They even had live entertainment, which was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely be returning!

The decor was nice, and the music on Thursday evening was delightful, highlighted by an excellent guitarist. However, the room became quite warm as it filled up with guests. I enjoyed the shrimp dinner, which was very flavorful, but the shrimp were on the smaller side. I brought this to the waitress's attention, and to my surprise, she took five dollars off the bill, which I really appreciated.
