Folktale Winery Vineyards

Had a great wine tasting with JK tonight. This guy was awesome, made us feel at home and taught us a lot about wine making. Great atmosphere here, we will be coming back soon.

We had a great afternoon here. The tasting area is beautiful. Hostess was pleasant. Our server, Pedro, was very nice and super knowledgeable. We will definitely request him next time we come. Food was delicious, had the sweet heat pizza and the hummus.Family friendly tasting area as well. We will be back.

While visiting from Florida in September I had the wonderful privilege to visit your winery a birthday surprise). What a beautiful experience we had, from the tour to the lunch we shared it was all fabulous. Being a wine drinker it has always been a “bucket list” for me to visit a winery, and with the help of my family and my husband surprising me I was able to check off a bucket item. Your winery is amazing and I will surely visit again when I return to California ??

A wonderful winery in a beautiful location! My husband and I visited Folktale for the first time this past weekend and loved our experience. We did the reserve flight as we love reds, and I must say they had some of my favorite reds I've ever tried. We ordered a pizza as well and it was delicious! Service was 10/10. I bought a bottle of the Hound wine and the girls at the checkout counter were very sweet. We'll definitely be back again!

Beautiful location and atmosphere nestled in the Carmel Valley. The ambience was definitely the best part of this experience. The service was abysmal. They wanted to reuse the same glasses for our entire tasting. (without even offering to rinse them out and we also did not have a spit bucket, where unfortunately most of the wine we tasted ended up. The $42 charcuterie board was an embarrassment. The hummus had some mystical ingredient, made it taste a bit like laundry detergent. Our server was clueless we had to track him down for everything...including simple items like glasses for our water.They have a bad bee/hornet issue and they took forever to remove plates from the table.The wine....well let's just leave it at a 1/10 to be nice. $200 later (for 2 people) We wouldn't go back, purchase any of the wine, nor refer any knowledgeable winos to this location.So sorry to have to write this review, but it's way over priced an incredibly underwhelming.
