Rocky Point - Carmel By the Sea

Have been here many times to take visiting friends and family on our way down the coast to share our spectacular CA coastal views. I like that they have security guard who will not let you in driveway unless you have reservations. Also, they do not answer their phone, so make reservations online. All staff are very nice, and super efficient, and you can sit on patio with your dogs. Just need to say do not order the **** mary unless you want it virgin. They didn't put vodka in any of ours. We should have ordered a bottle of wine instead.

Too bad we had to cancell our Thanksgiving lunch here because no vegetarian option available. We came on Friday and the weather was great and the butternut squash soup and pasta pomodoro were great.

The deiensly relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food , fabulous views and excellent service make this the best restaurant on the central coast !

Go for the view not the food. Preferably before sunset

Great views and worth coming for at least a drink to see and experience the CA coast
