Contribuiți la feedback4 coffees ordered, 30 minutes to get 3, 40 minutes to get the 4th!! Service is appalling. But if you like screaming kids running around climbing over everything then this place is for you.
Today it was about the afternoon to meet with some old friends and their little ktiken on recommendation. beautiful gardens and surrounding and beautiful surroundings for the café/restaurant. we had the children today with us so that we are from the beautiful enclosed children area where they order to sit out of the caffe and eat how the children run around no one else! they need to order at theke and collect their food and drinks when they were ready, but it was fast and friendly service. the scene were delicious as the jam, but the use of canned cream always disappoints me. everything else looked and tasted great, the brush and a piece of cake from a well-filled pancake cabinet. as for the play area it was well fenced and easily seen from the shaded deck. they still have to supervise real little, as there are a few steep descents and edges, but there is a beautiful stripe also sitting and playing. everything in a beautiful place to spend a few hours!
Firstly, the food wasn't top notch but the courteous service made up for it. I have been here previously with my husband and everything went smoothly because there was only the two of us, so not too many orders. However Upon return with my sisters, We had our meals arriving one by one with more than 15 minute intervals between each, our final dish of (wedges) came over an hour later. If you're wanting to watch your fellow diner eat while you clutch your stomach, than this is where you'll have lunch. I'd probably recommend you come here for the scones and tea/ coffee. The Rose-ade was yummy but really? $6.50 for a glass of lemonade with rose petals? No, I'm not one to comment on price, but this is ludacris! Also, Since my last visit; the restaurant has been extended and renovated. Personally, the previous quaint country feel worked. The new and modern revamp doesn't work at all, in fact a little confusing. The building makes me feel like I'm supposed to be in the city but lost in the hills?? 4 stars for great views of the rose farm and Koi fish pond. Take your nanna, or your mother. You will probably have a lot to talk about.
This place is an adorable secret spot hidden away in the hills and it's one of my favourite places. They have a stunning rose garden to explore, a pond full of koi fish and a little cafe that overlooks all the pretty flowers. I've had tea and scones here many times and it's always yummy, they also have breakfast and lunch items. Rose petals are a nice touch on the side of their dishes and the rose-ade is delicious. Edit: They have completely changed the building and renamed the place. Lost the old character but it's much bigger and they're still adding more buildings. Very upsetting that they've ruined a beautiful quaint place in the hills and turned it into bleh.
I visited recently this lovely cafe where the food was very tasty and well presented, the service to table fast and the table service was excellent. Unfortunately the visit was spoiled for me by the very poor attitude of the French lady at the counter who took our order and money. This spoiled the visit for me. I will go here again to walk around the extensive gardsens
