Vivante French Eatery - Carmel

I love this place. I have eaten dinner and brunch in this restaurant. eating is fabulous. the service is perfect. I highly recommend it.

The birthday of my man and I recommended that the hostes recognized it. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, we received our drink from the bar when our salads finally arrived, lacked three main components and it was plated on a plate somewhat larger than a broth plate. when I called the missing component problem to our server, she tried to be inconsistent, even close to my salat with her extremely long artificial fingernails. our escaped came only two hours after sitting at our table. the sea bass was good, but he was plated with two small strands of over carburized broccolini and a smear of parsnip purée. we had to ask for brot, it came for our escape. there were big gaps when our server was not present to ask something, etc. three tables of two that sat more than an hour after us had drinks, salads and escape before our escapes came out. we have never been given a declaration in this vision. in addition someone else had birthday in the restaurant and the personal came out and recognized it, sang a short happy birthday and brought dessert. that was not offered to my man. we finished back to our hotel suite with desserts. this was an extremely disappointing culinary experience, as we have chosen the hotel carmichael as a birthday holiday and have reserved two weeks for vivante. I am confused what the problems were, as it seemed to be a sufficient number of visible employees. the salat and the escape mentioned above, plus a margarita was $74.00 the eating was something that could all fit on 1/2 of a regular big dinner dish. with the dessert added our review was $220.00 we often dinate, so I am well versed about the pricing regarding fine eating, this was too expensive, and not a pleasant meal. while we expect that fine eating is an experience that is not rushed, it is not acceptable to wait the time we have waited.

We had a great Uk experience tonight at vivante! leah did a great job. the short nativity and the sea bass were cooked for perfection with large aromes! we're going back!

This is a very elegant place but the food was a little under our expectations. The salmon in the salad was too hard, crab cake too salty… We ordered one desert (chocolate ice cream) which was a really great, but we waited much too long for it. The Camembert cheese was though really good! For the elegance of this place (hotel Carmichael), I would have expected just a little better service and food.
