Caliente Mexican - Carmel

This restaurant has excellent food and customer service. I will definitely be back for more.

I just came home from food, with three friends, in Caliente! It was great in EVERY way! Delicious food! Magnificent artwork! Shiny clean! Excellent service! Our server, Francisco, was friendly, personal, precise, efficient, funny and made our evening a perfect culinary experience! Thank you, one and all!

The food and drink here are great. And depending on the server the service can be okay. Same owner as Texas Margaritas in Zionsville. Both top notch restaurants. Love the al pastor tacos, the king burrito get it with pork) and of course the Texas Margarita orange is the flavor infusion you need).

2nd review: This is our ever favorite Mexican place in Indiana for its authentic vibe, decor and most of all most importantly food! The service is always professional and courteous. this time around we ordered something different from the usual and popular veggie chimichanga, Camarones a La Diabla. Now don’t go by the name and think its a complex dish. Think of a spicy sauce with grilled shrimp, onion infused with garlic. I was wowed for sure! The spice was just right, not something that makes you cry. The portion was huge and filling along with the lettuce, guac, rice and beans. I love shrimp in general, but this shrimp was a step further. I am going back again for Camarones a La Diabla! We loved the food so much that day that we decided to visit again on a weekday. We ordered golden shrimp enchiladas, polio chipotle, veg A with tomatillo sauce and bean dip with tortilla chips. The bean dip appetizer was creamy, delicious and heavy. We tried the nachos with tomatillo sauce was hot, spicy and so flavorful. We loved the sauce so much that we ordered another bowl. It blended well with the entrees that is enchiladas and polio chipotle. All in good flavors, freshly cooked, and taste to perfection. A lot of authentic flavors that made caliente stand apart from commercial flukes. Great ambience, fun music, good service and spacious location. Highly recommend caliente will customize per your need.

Caliente is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. Food is always great and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Decor is really cool, too. Can always get in and out quickly at lunchtime.
