Burgerhaus - Carmel

A few years ago, when the Burgerhaus opened the city centre on the canal, I went and was not very impressed. Actually, it was so disappointing that I haven't been back since. Only so happens that I had to spend a few hours in Carmel yesterday and discovered there was another brand up there. Decide it a try Wow!! I had "The Aussie" thick cut bacon, smoked Gouda, salad, tomatoes, Mayo and a roasted egg. You'd think that all the extras would exaggerate the burger, they didn't. The burger itself was perfect, fleshy, juicy and the star of the show. I was pretty pleasantly surprised. Add a beautiful artisan beer and cocktail menu, beautiful decor and extremely friendly waiter, and this place has dried to the top of my Burger restaurant list. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I visited this restaurant tonight. I had the chicken sandwich (instead of a burger) and my husband had a regular burger. He thought it was one of the best he had. The fries were also much better than most fries I ate. Also our waitress, Kayleigh, was brilliant and even shared the Valparaiso salad in half back in the back, so my husband and I could share it before our meal. They were very accommodating. I was very impressed. We'll be back.

The burgers we had here were also tasty - the variety generosity of the toppings is great! The page salad option is SO brilliant-thanks for being there with a healthy side! The fries are also some of my favorite I like that they do not overload your dish with fries (there is so much to eat with the Burger Service was also quick friendly the couple of times we were!

My first visit to Burgerhaus! We ate outside under the shade of the table umbrella. The menu had a wide selection of standard and special burgers as well as specialties, salads, drinks, cocktails, etc. The Taco Salad was fantastic! My wife had the Burgerhaus Burger with the Fritten Basket and it was also very good! We would recommend the Burger House to everyone, including families with children. Our server (John) was very well known about the menu, very anentative and made the meal really a pleasant experience! We'll be back!

Delicious fresh food. Lots of variety to the menu- not just burgers. Wonderful beer and wine list. Very cool interior!
