Agave Grill - Carmel

Worst experience ever..waitress took our order and did not turn it in..it was just 2 of us and other big parties were getting their food very quickly..I finally asked what was taking so long she kept saying she would check on it..I finally ask the manager and he confirmed she did not turn in our ticket..we walked out and left..waitress was not interested in helping us since we got there. 45 minutes wasted smh

Service was great on a fairly busy Sunday evening. We sat outside and had a very pleasant dinner after getting back in town tired from a road trop. The chips and queso really hit the spot to start off, and the bell peppers in the fajitas were the best I’ve had (charred but still a little crisp and very flavorful, not all mushy). Waitress was friendly and attentive. Note about some of the bad reviews: Carmel has a bit of a snobby rep. English isn’t everyone’s first language and it takes a lot of work to learn a second language. If you’re polite and keep it simple, I think you’ll find the service is just fine. If you don’t, well, maybe you brought the problem with you.

Absolutely 5 stars. Great vibes, food, and service. Everything was so fresh. Chips, salsa, chicken, guac, tortillas. Also the freshest Corona draft I ever had. Cannot wait to come back!

Sat on sidewalk and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Server was very pleasant and a joy to interact with. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!!

The waitress brought me two incorrect orders and in the process of serving dumped salsa on my hat which cost $53. Not only did she not offer to pay for a replacement but didn't do anything to provide a discount on the meal. Furthermore when I asked, she accused me of being rude. Seriously?!? I was restrained the whole time. I did not yell. I did not curse. I took a photo of the receipt. If she messes with the total, I will have her prosecuted.
