Leekes Department Store

Nice and clean coffee show with fresh looking food. However, the 2 cappuccinos we ordered were not quite hot enough for our liking. The staff were friendly enough considering the whole store was freezing cold! We noticed that all the staff (not that there were that many of them there) had coats on, which must be very unpleasant having to work under those conditions. The store has definitely deteriorated since my last visit, which is such a shame, but it certainly wasn’t a nice experience walking around, in the cold, dodging the strategically placed buckets catching the dripping water. C’mon Leekes….you are better than this!!

Early lunch had here on a busy Saturday today. Service was efficient with a great flat white. We had a fish and a pie with chips which was hot and tasty. It was clean and tidy and great for a quick bite to eat. Will be back when in the area.

It's a very pleasant place to meet up with people ,,it clean the staff are very pleasant and very helpful and polite The food is very nice, and the coffee is always hot the way I like it

Called in today with friends for lunch. Food was delicious and staff were amazing.Jill the cook went above and beyond as one of our party had allergies and the lady on the counter was helpful efficient and makes great coffee. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again and after a day of looking at kitchens and bathrooms I needed it

This is the last time I will use this cafe! Appalling behaviour by all staff at the coffee shop! Arrogant and rude! Came for a quiet coffee only for a member of staff to sit close and shout on her loud speaker on her mobile phone placing a food order! She could have easily don’t this in the kitchen or at least at the end of the cafe where no one was sitting! Mentioned it to one of the other staff and she just shrugged her shoulders and did nothing apart from start whispering to the other members of staff about me! Before that whilst having my coffee (which was absolutely cold!! one of the other staff just came up to my table (which was dirty!! started to push chairs around me! Absolutely no manners at all!! After moving to another table due to the constant shouting from the member of staff in the phone, the other member of staff decided to start cleaning around me on the other table!! This clearly was done on purpose!! Ended up leaving, and so did a few others who were sitting around the area! Arrogance at the best!! Your staff clearly needs re-training!! Never again will I use this cafe!! Absolutely terrible customer service!!
