Tafarn Tanerdy - Carmarthen

I went to the carvery on a Sunday. The meat portions were a decent size and you could choose how many vegetables you wanted. The turkey was delicious. However, the drinks took a long time to arrive, even after two reminders. We had almost finished eating by the time they finally came. Next time, I'll make sure to pick up my drinks on the way to the table just in case. The desserts were good, but it seemed like there was a lack of communication between staff. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of management.

We recently visited Tafarn Tanerdy for drinks while staying in Carmarthen with a friend. The pub is quite large and has an old-fashioned decor inside, as well as a lovely beer garden with views of the hills, making it an ideal sun trap. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Although we had only planned on having drinks, we ended up staying for lunch after seeing how delicious the food looked on a nearby table. I had the Lamb Koftas and my friend had the Chicken Sandwich with chips. The food was fresh, tasty, and good value. I would definitely recommend Tafarn Tanerdy and will visit again when in Carmarthen.
