We only went to the tobacco bar. The welcome, the terrace, the humor... David and Emilie are adorable. Their dog loves caresses. We strongly advise.

We spent 2 nights in the escapade and we couldn't dream better to close our holidays! A friendly and warm welcome in a very family village atmosphere. L'Escapade is a hidden gem in Carlux village near the Dordogne River. The set menu of aspargus flan, tagliatelle with a rich tomato and meat sauce and tarte citron with chantilly was delicious and only 13 euros. The en suite double room in the attic where we stayed was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and furnished in a simple modern style. The views were lovely. The young couple are charming and helpful. We recommended L'Escapade to friends who have booked a weekend in September 2016.
