The lasagna had a delicious, strong tomato flavor with many layers of pasta. However, the meat was minced and lacking in other ingredients, which was disappointing for a lasagna dish. Prices ranged from $22 to $35, which seemed a bit high for pasta dishes.
We were greeted quite firmly by the Italian host at the front, but we decided to overlook it. The prices were typical of Lygon Street. The food was delicious; I had the calf's mushroom dish, my friend had the filet steak which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and my son had the adult-sized spaghetti bolognese for $22.90, although the portion size was disappointing for the price. My daughter, who is 11 years old, ordered a simple chicken and chips dish, which came with 2 chicken tenders and a handful of chips. When the bill arrived, I noticed a charge of $15.90 for my daughter's meal. I spoke with the staff and they corrected it to $10.90, which was more reasonable. The dining experience was pleasant, but I would recommend dining on Lygon Road instead.
We went to this restaurant early on a Saturday night. our family of 8 received prompt friendly service. I was glad that this restaurant served children's dishes as we had 4 children with us. I had a linguine marinara that was amazing. all meals on the table were very enjoyed except the children lasagnen. the children found them too rich and dead. the prices of the meal were very reasonable.
Eating was okay, but we had to wait for an hour to eat, this place ran from Italians?
This restaurant had good service but very average food we had packet pasta, and pizza akin to a pizza hut pizza. The decor was average, although there was nice seating outside. The food was reasonably priced, but we wouldn't return given the food wasn't...good.
