Norte Mexican Food Cocktail - Carlsbad

This place was delicious and fast with food coming out hot. The servers were very friendly and very accommodating of our family! The salsa had such great flavor!

A few weeks ago we visited Norte in Carlsbad Village. Before visiting a new restaurant, I check the reviews. I was surprised to see several negative reviews. But everyone was hungry and parked so in we went! We had a very nice lunch on the pretty patio. Our waiters were attentive and welcoming. Norte is known for the yummy soups and mine was hot and plentiful! The chips were warm, crispy and salsa was good. Everyone else enjoyed their food and wouldn’t not hesitate to go again. Can’t beat the location, one block from the beach. The parking is not bad. If you’re looking for a place to take out of town visitors, this would be a great choice.

Amazing food great drinks and service is always why I come back. Love this restaurant, the owners and the staff. They always deliver day or night rain or shine.

Five Star!! Excellent quality, large portions, handmade sauce, great service, nice price point! I highly recommend! Thank you Norte!! Great location overlooking the ocean. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Chips and house made salsa the best! Only challenge was parking, shopped in ice cream spot and enjoyed a delicious salted caramel cone for dessert!!

It’s changed. Your no longer seated in the comfy area it’s bar and patio bar only. The waiter was extreme kind. The food however was not a bowl of chicken Sald was 90% cabbage the vinaigrette dressing was Vinegar. The chorizo and egg plate was horrible and my mr is not one to complain it was acidic with tomatoes and green onions in it. The beans are obviously from a can. This use to be our hangout but the last two times have been pure disappointment.
