La Place Deli - Carlsbad

I went with a colleague and we each had the deluxe club sandwich and tuna—both were absolutely delicious! I'm so glad I discovered this place and I will definitely be coming back to try their other sandwiches.

I consider myself fortunate to have this deli within walking distance from my workplace. Although today was my first visit, it definitely won't be my last! The deli boasts a fantastic variety of sandwiches, drinks, and chips. They also feature a soup of the day and daily specials. Each sandwich comes with a delicious macaroni salad. A coworker introduced me to this place and mentioned that if you visit often enough, the owner will eventually start calling out your order, and you can just confirm or deny it. The owner is incredibly friendly and truly dedicated to providing excellent customer service to his customers. Plus, the prices are very reasonable; a sandwich with chips costs under $8. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I tried all the delis in the local area, most of them more than once, and settled on La Place Deli as being the best. Charlie and his staff, including his wife Jamie, are always friendly and attentive. Food is excellent, great value for money, and there is enough variety to please even the most picky eaters. And they are fast! Highly recommended!
