Jay's Gourmet Pasta And Seafood

Incredible food! The portions are very generous. I ordered the Jay's seafood combo and shared it with my husband. It was absolutely fantastic, and we still had leftovers! This is a must-try!

The portions sizes are smaller then they use to be, the quality has gone downhill, and the prices went through the roof. The beer tastes funny, like they haven't cleaned the tap type of funny. The restaurant and kitchen look dirty too. (You walk by the kitchen to go to the bathroom).

I remember this place being amazing. It 's been years since my last visit. I take my kids to eat tonight and it was the absolute worst. I have worked in the restaurant business for over 25 years. I notice certain behaviors and how guest should be treated. We were being ignored the whole time. Had to ask for refills, had to ask for plates, had to ask multiple people for bread. When the food came, not once did the server come by to check on us. Which is one of the most basic server rules...the check back to ensure the guests are happy and don 't need anything. I had to ask for the check twice.. Had to ask for boxes.. which was obvious. We were intentionally ignored by the server, Scott, as we were prejudged from the moment we walked in. The worst part, all the other tables were getting service and attention. Food was just ok... Pizza crust was dry and no flavor... I will never go back and hopefully warn people to stay away. I tried to email the manager directly but guess what... No email on their website!!!

My wife and I came in from LA. We were in town celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. We always like to try new places to eat. We came in for dinner. The place was nice, a very homey feel. It seemed to have a lot of regulars. The service was very quick, except for getting bread to our table. The portions were huge. I got the Jay's combination seafood 1/2 portion. It was enough to feed 2 people, it was excellent. There were a couple of items I did not care for. My iced tea did not taste freshly brewed and the mozzarella sticks tasted like they were old or previously frozen. The waitresses were fantastic.

The garlic bread arrived steaming hot and was absolutely delightful, with just the right balance of butter and garlic to kick off our meal. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and it was captivating to watch an array of calzones, pizzas, and various pasta dishes being served. It was tough to choose from the menu since they offer everything you could want in Italian cuisine, along with plenty of seafood options to indulge in. The staff was wonderful—the two hostesses and our waitress were all a pleasure to interact with. We loved our meal and could tell that others around us were equally satisfied. I wasn't surprised to see a sizable line forming around 7 PM as a nice crowd gathered. Fortunately, we arrived early, and I recommend that approach if you can.
