Bombay Diner - Carlow

Awful! Never go back. Delivery Over an hour late, we live in Central carlow, about 10 minutes away! Told twice it was just round the corner. When it arrived it was cold! Honestly I don't complain or leave bad reviews but I'd hate anyone else to spend almost €80 and wait almost 2 hours for a meal that was cold especially when the takeaway is only ten minutes away) I'd usually just use collection in the future but in this case I won't go back.

Food was rotten and musty. The smell of it was all over the house. Rang the restaurant they did not care and told me if I am looking for a refund that is all I want, then never refund me. This is really dangerous and can poison anyone eats from that place.

Food was okay, but too oily Service was very slow and nobody actually bothered to check on the customers regularly and also to take the order. Even though the restaurant was almost empty with 2-3 people, who were also finishing their food. Seems like there was no good respect or value to the customers who visit this restaurant. Even after so many similar reviews given by other customers, there are no improvements or changes made. I agree with almost all the comments related to service.

Called in here after a (financially) disappointing day at Gowran Park races. The food was excellent, with a meal for three consisting of poppadoms, two starters, three mains, rice and naan along with a side order of aloo Bombay and three non alcoholic drinks coming in at just under 70€. Really impressed and will definitely be back next race day.

I've been here a few times now and I do love Indian food. I tend to order a jalfrezzi with rice and nann bread. The food is authentic and nicely spiced. The nann bread is lovely. Staff are very friendly. I enjoy eating here and will be back.
