Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited this restaurant today for afternoon tea, which featured Frozen-themed treats. It was fantastic! The food was fresh and there was a wide variety to choose from. My child, who is a big Frozen fan, absolutely loved it. The service was excellent.
Yesterday shortly after the coffee grated the parking lot is not well laid out, and a man came out and advised us that we were too close to the fish pons, so we pulled the car as directed only for him, then let us shut them down for a private function. there were also other couples that were turned away in the direction of the caffe. the man said there was a message at the entrance that they were closed, but we checked out on the way out and saw nothing. I see from their Facebook page that they make tees on certain days on the afternoon, but surely this does not stop them from being open in the morning for coffee and snacks. I suggest they update their website opening times, which says they are open to clarify that this applies only to days when they do not have any themed event to prevent wasted travel. I have given an average score, as it would be unfair to judge, as we actually don't get a chance to get in. it is not realistic to expect that everyone wanted to book in advance when traveling and just a coffee and snack. the white rabbit tearoom saved the day.
Absolute love these tea rooms best afternoon tee by far, and most loving couples who do nothing too much when we ask something fantastic theme rooms to all the different monthly thements they do, the props they use and decorations are big aswel
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch halfway through our journey home from a week in Seahouses to Bolton. After checking the reviews on TripAdvisor, I can now add to the great feedback - the service and food were excellent! I had a delicious fresh bacon bap and a generously sized latte to go with it. The location was perfect, just off the motorway, and not too far from the city. It's definitely worth a visit!
My friend and I decided to have lunch yesterday without a reservation and were seated inside right away. We ordered a prawn marie rose salad bowl and garlic mushrooms, both of which were delicious and came with fresh French fries and garlic bread. The service was quick, and Phil, our waiter, was friendly and helpful. I don't know how the chef manages to create such amazing dishes in a relatively small kitchen all by herself – she is truly amazing. The only downside was the mismatched seating – the tables used to be light colored and the chairs were various shades of blue and white, but now there are dark chairs and metal tables that don't quite fit in. Despite this, we will still come back for the great service and food quality. I suggest updating the furniture by stripping the table tops, painting the legs/poles a lighter color, and replacing the dark chairs with painted cottage style ones to bring back that casual chic and classy look. Thank you.
