The Handpie Company - Carleton

We heard about this place from friends of ours who had done an east coast road trip the week before us and they told us we HAD to stop here before leaving PEI! So we did! And we definitely don't regret it! These pies are unique and one of a kind! We had the beef stew pie --- MMMMMMmmmmmm good! The cookies were excellent too! We got to chat with the owner a bit and it was all around a lovely experience! The picnic tables out front are creatively painted and we sat out there eating all the goods.

I've been thinking about pulled pork handpies since I had one here a week ago! We will definitely be back for more of those delicious pies!

I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of my pulled pork hand pie. I regret not buying more! The quality of the food is outstanding. Keep up the great work!

I absolutely adored this restaurant. I ordered the chickpea and curry pie, and it was delicious. The restaurant is small and has a unique charm, and the service was incredibly friendly. It's a great spot for a quick and satisfying dinner. The pies are all made with fresh ingredients by hand. I really hope this place is here to stay because I will definitely be back. It's definitely worth a visit.

I was really looking forward to stopping in as I had heard great things about this little company. The staff is amazing, very friendly. The hand pies were pie crusts folded over with fillings. We tried the bacon/cheeseburger pie and a stew pie, sharing a bottle of water. Total cost was in the area of $22.It was good to try but I found the pies bland for my liking. If they add options, I would likely try again.
