The Laneway - Caringbah South

Cocktails, wine, beer and cider all served with tapas on offer after 3. Beautiful outdoor setting with trees and rustic furniture set next to a park. Service was very friendly and happy. Lunch menu normal cafe food but quality and tasty. Just what caringbah needs for a Friday Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Only problem it closes at 7 pm.

Booked lunch 12pm Sunday advised closed 2.30/3pm that was on the Saturday Sunday when we arrived ordered meals where near finished meal and forgot a meal which they claim not paid for no proof they don t give dockets 12.55pm meals arrived then advised eat up closing at 1.30 boss watching not enough people so c l o s e, also 2weeks back 8went for lunch taking a very ill lady out going into hospital next day for cancer operation after meal we ordered coffee can you pay for coffee now before receiving coffe we asked did they think 8pele were going to walk out and not pay well what can I say I and my friends agree do not recommend

Great service, great food and great coffee!My only concerns are the noise and the price.The music along with customer talk is at times overbearing. I'm all for music but perhaps with a little less bass.Halloumi is an optional extra. One slice (as per photo) was given for $3. I found this rather disappointing.Overall a nice place to eat with friendly staff and a chilled vibe.I will consider returning. ✌

Attended The Laneway cafe with work colleagues. Rang cafe a few days prior to going to enquire whether they could cater for vegetarians as we were paying for a set menu. They ensured me I would be looked after. Payed $30 for 3 mini salad wraps while everyone else was inundated with food.So I sat there for 3 hours to eat 3 mini wraps. Arrived home still hungry !!!! Fortunately the company was great.

We went to the Laneway Cafe recently and sat in the rear 'container' area. I was not expecting the place to be good because I had a so so experience with Flowerchino in the past, in fact I was going to walk straight past. But what a surprise, the atmosphere is excellent with a play area for small children that hits the mark. Its the perfect for a few blokes to meet up for lunch when they have the kids. it is kid friendly Tick, Tick, Tick and adult friendly. I really like the country style atmosphere. The food was good and the service was quick and fuss free. This place is a winner, and if it stays that way, it will be super successful.
