Jade Palace - Caribou

Best Chinese food around. Service is always friendly and prices are reasonable.

I ordered the #11 combo which came with chicken fingers, crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, and pork fried rice. The rice was a little bland but not bad. I thought everything else was pretty good and I would order again.

The food is fantastic, but they no longer offer the buffet or accept Canadian money at par, which is noticeable. During my last visit, the restaurant was empty, while it used to be bustling on Sundays.

The food is consistently excellent—delicious, visually appealing, and generous portions at reasonable prices. However, the staff seemed disinterested and spent a long time gossiping before remembering to bring our appetizers, which we had to remind them about. Our fries and soup were ready long before they acknowledged us, and it wasn’t even busy at the time. This place used to be lively, but now it feels quite quiet and lacking energy. I also noticed a lack of vegetarian options, especially no tofu—this is a missed opportunity!

We recently placed a large takeout order, and it was poorly packed in just one bag. Everything leaked and mixed together on the way home. Items were placed sideways or without their lids secured, which was very unprofessional.
