Les Ponts D'ouve - Carentan

Great place to stop for quick bite or pizza. Usually, I get a pizza, but this time opted for a salad. Well, I wanted the goat cheese salad and was hungry, so got the geant!! Which could have feed the entire table. Ha. Pizzas and fast food are standard and reliability good. Today's special was moules e frites which I would Usually get...as many others did for 13.50€. Anyway, great place to stop. Good service.

We ate here on a whim as it was the only thing open. Delicious! Large portions (and we are Américains).

I 'm not absolutely certain I 'm EXACTLY at the correct restaurant site but I think I am at the restaurant Les Ponts d 'Ouve near the canal. TripAdvisor rated this highly and they are correct! The food was DELICIOUS! My grandson had the brochettes perfect! My husband had the duck and while I had a hamburger (I don 't eat the bun) so it is similar to hamburger steak (make that GOOD hamburger steak) with salad fries AND baked potatoes, It was really GOOD! The prices were very reasonable the mixed drinks were very good, the wine perfect! The staff was helpful (except for my husband no one spoke French). The price very reasonable for the very large portions! Oh, did I forget the crime brûlée wonderful! I would HIGHLY recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed hopefully you will too!

Super great place. Very accommodating towards the soldiers visiting for D-Day. They even gave us a shot of Homemade apple liquor Such great hosts.
