Venue's Cafe - Carefree

We visited a restaurant located in a pristine outdoor shopping area in Carefree. The atmosphere was charming, especially as we left when the night set in. Although we just missed their happy hour, we decided to try their eggs with a special jam, which turned out to be delicious. The menu featured some intriguing twists on standard dishes, as well as some traditional options. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which I absolutely loved, while my partner had the penne with vodka sauce, which I found quite tasty as well. The portion sizes were generous, and they offered a nice selection of wines. There was live music that evening, and our waiter had a friendly demeanor with a rather amusing sense of humor!

Eating is good, but the service was ridiculously slow. there were very few people in the restaurant, but still it took an hour to get our food and we rarely had to ask the server whether we needed to refill water, drinks etc. I've been to this place before and was very disappointed by the service and even though it was good, but it was better before. I don't think I'm going back.

This restaurant in the inner city's Carefree square is truly wonderful. It has the ambiance of a car repair garage and a small front terrace, but the generous portion sizes make up for it. I had the sloppy joe, which was both plentiful and delicious. My wife enjoyed a chicken salad that she praised for its freshness. After lunch, it's easy to explore the nearby shops and galleries in Carefree, which we really enjoy. Overall, it's a fantastic spot!

Had the short ribs that were good, but a little salty, the French wobbly soup was even a little salty, but otherwise tasty. loved the Auberginen-Caprese-Attizer. the service was a little slow and at the end I had to get someone to get my waitress on the check.

After a ten-minute wait, the service was decent. However, the dip was disappointing—consisting of dry shredded beef with only about an ounce of au jus. I took two bites and left the rest.
