Annie's Kitchen - Cardwell

Very quick lunch stop on way to Townsville. Staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. My corn beef sandwich & cup of tea was prepared quickly and delivered to the table. Lovely view. Bathroom on site. All that is needed.

We had what I would consider the best fish and chips I have ever had. Crispy and tasty fish with fabulously crispy chips. We sat and ate our lunch with a lovely breeze and a great view over the ocean. Will not drive past here again without having fish and chips.

A quick rest stop on the Greyhound bus - only 30 metres from the bus stop - they made a lovely cappuccino, not overly hot or burnt, with lovely flavour of the beans.

Recommended by a local, this small cafe didn't look special from the road but the quality and freshness of meals was very good. Fresh calamari and a huge serve, made for an unexpected feast for lunch! 4.5 out of 5
