Starbucks The Brewery - Cardiff

I always go to this restaurant whenever I visit Cardiff. I was annoyed to be charged for a takeaway cup when dining in. It seems like every customer was given environmentally harmful takeaway packaging to avoid washing dishes. I don't like being expected to eat out of a bag. They should only give takeaway packaging to those who specifically ask for it.

I went into the restaurant to use the restroom but found that all the doors were locked with keypads. When I tried to leave, I held the door open for a staff member, but they completely ignored me without even saying thank you. Good customer service doesn't cost anything.

My experience at Starbucks today was disappointing. The server was very rude and forgot to add a shot of coffee to my order. Instead of apologizing, she repeatedly said that I didn't mention it. I believe Starbucks should address her behavior issue. If she doesn't enjoy her job, she should find another one or improve her work ethic. I wouldn't return to this location again. Her behavior was unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire store.

A typical Starbucks in terms of menu and prices, which is what you expect. Staff can vary but are generally very chatty and friendly, as well as giving the fast service you want.

Elliot was kind and funny, running on very little sleep having closed the bar I work in last night and back in to open this morning, I didn't think I was in the mood for small talk but elliot was pleasant and cheery helping turn a negative morning into a very positive one
