Tommy was outstanding. He was friendly , polite and went above and beyond the call of duty providing outstanding customer service. I will definitely be back. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Matthias and his excellent staff in kitchen and restaurant looked after us so well and coped so kindly with my Aunts dietary requirement., they couldn’t have been kinder. The food was interesting and delicious , , the restaurant has an open airy feel which is great on a warm evening, everything you want in a place to eat but most outstanding was the service and absolute kindness of the members of staff.

Visited with colleagues on a Wednesday evening. The food is good and the restaurant clean quiet and pleasant. Our visit however was made excellent thanks to Nikolette who was our waitress and appeared to be the only one working in a relatively busy restaurant. Nikolette knew everything on the menu, had tried it personally and was honest in her appraisal of everything. It’s incredible how much of a difference a good member of staff can make,. If you manage a restaurant you would be wise to poach this lady before someone else does!

Ordered the ‘Roasted garlic and rosemary chicken’. Not sure what happened to the garlic, or the rosemary, as it was just chicken and chips. And cheap French fries at that. No veggies. Very basic. Basic ordinary pub food, from my one experience.

The Caesar salad with hot smoked salmon was truly excellent. It was delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed our lunch at the bar since the restaurant is closed for lunch, but it was definitely worth the visit. It's a great spot to have a peaceful and uninterrupted meal.
