Nando's Cardiff Quays

I visited a restaurant in Cardiff Bay and was disappointed to find it dirty, with plates left on tables and seagulls taking food that was not cleared promptly. The situation led me to opt for takeout, but there was no discount for this option and I had to make do with a spoon as there were no forks available. The halloumi I got back to my hotel was cold. The food itself was okay, but the overall experience was tarnished by understaffing.

Nando's restaurant is well-known for its wide variety of chicken dishes, especially its delicious hot sauces. It's a great place for families and groups to enjoy shared dishes.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were seated without being told that more than half of the menu items were unavailable. When we asked for assistance, the staff initially ignored us. Eventually, when they acknowledged us, they tried to help by suggesting an item that was not available. The waitress said she would check what was in stock but never returned to update us, despite our attempts to get the attention of several staff members.

Plenty of choices, and a good menu, served very quickly by friendly staff.

Bit of a shambles. Waited by the door, but nobody came to see us, so we sat down anyway. Another couple came in after us, who waited around 5 minutes before being seated. Nobody came to see them after 10 minutes so they walked out.
