Las Iguanas Mermaid Quay - Cardiff

I had a great experience at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised to be served by a vegan waitress who was very helpful with her recommendations. They offered a few fully vegan options as well as some "Ask vegan be" options. I tried the jackfruit curry, which was excellent and cost less than £10.

I enjoy dining at Iguanas because they offer a nice vegan menu. However, I found the lunch menu to be a bit limited. I tried the burrito bowl, which I felt would have been better served on a plate instead of a bowl. It was difficult to eat with just a fork and knife, which are my preferred utensils. It can be challenging to eat a large salad out of a bowl! On the plus side, they offer a fantastic worker discount.

No one said ripen not available and so after it was chosen we were told. No one came to check back after we started eating to see if it was okay. no money was paid for eating. his legal tender. not impressed.

The staff was lovely and provided excellent service. The wine was top-notch and everyone enjoyed the cocktails. However, the chicken in the Copacabana burger was severely overcooked with a tough coating, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Large option for late after the theatre dinners as it accepts booking up to 22.30
