Ema Balti Takeaway - Cardiff

I had never been to this takeaway restaurant before, but it was recommended to me and I'm glad I decided to try it. I enjoyed the food so much, it was really delicious.

I placed an order on their website and received a confirmation email. After waiting for over an hour, I called to inquire about my order, only to be told that they never received it. I was then informed that I would not be able to receive my food or get a refund for the payment made. Avoid ordering from this restaurant, as it appears to be a scam.

The food for one is a perfect 10, I could never finish because the portions are so generous! It can be a little greasy, but just cover it up and get the job done.

2 hours after ordering still no food. Manager and staff are awful, cancelled the order due to me having the cheek to complain. They have never ever delivered an order on time. Trading standards will be informed.

It 's a pretty ho-hum affair, with the curry more or less what you expect/require from a cheap takeaway, complete with lots of curry powder and not a great deal of taste. Slightly disturbing to see the server basically demanding more money from a customer, but then this place was always a bit like that. Bring back Hong fu !
