I've only tried their soup, and it's the best I've ever had. I'm excited to explore more of their menu in the future!

This location is very consistent with the quality in their hospitality and food. Best chicken soup I've ever tried so far. The flavor or the chilaquiles, the mole plate, the enchiladas it's a must try. Most relaxed and welcoming Mexican place in Encinitas.

Was looking for a quick bite, and stumbled upon this gem. Ordered the carnitas taco meal, and it was DELICIOUS. This place was so good, I went back for dinner and have been back every day trying something new. The meals have been consistently great. The place is clean. And fast. And reasonable. It 's not a fine dining atmosphere, but the food definitely is. Highly recommend.

This is the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had! They offer a great selection of salsas, but be cautious with the spicy red salsa—it will definitely set your tongue on fire!

My #1 for fish tacos. My #3 for Cali burritos. Everything else I've had off the menu (which is like everything) has been super solid. Lourdes does an exceptional job with those above as well as carnitas, a pretty damn good job with al pastor, and they have the best salsas and pickled carrots/jalepenos/onions in SD; that Sonora goes on everything. Also very quick service, and the closest taco spot around to the beach, that I know of.
