Contribuiți la feedbackNot bad vegan options. and I didn't feel at all with what all the others had. I would have preferred an alternative to soy milk, but this is my own preference. the staff is lovely and friendly. I would definitely go back.
I wish I had known earlier about this place, which is why I decided to add it to happycow and make sure that other vegans know that they can enjoy a real afternoon! They need to order afternoons a day in advance and at this point they specify all diet requirements, i.e. they say they are vegan. They also do gluten-free etc. that includes a sandwiches the vegan cream is not picked, but the fact that they have it at all is amazing: they have always provided a vegan cake, so if they fall for coffee and cake, they will actually have it in the layer, cake! the cakes are made by natives with whom the teehouse works. the tea menu is huge and organized by black, red, green and white tees. in each section there are many different tees, so they are not able to look through them all, unless they plan to stay a long time. the teehaus is located in the beautiful Penylan area through the gardens. only realized happycow won't let me give this place 5 stars! but it deserves 5 stars. it is much better than some vegetarian places.
The restaurant offers decent vegan options with delicious cakes. I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything compared to what others were having. While I would have preferred a non-soy milk alternative, that's just my personal preference. The staff were lovely and friendly. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
I recently discovered this hidden gem and I wish I had found it sooner. I decided to share my experience on Happycow to let other vegans know that they can indulge in a delicious afternoon tea here. It's necessary to pre-order the afternoon tea and specify any dietary requirements, such as being vegan. They also offer gluten-free options. The afternoon tea includes sandwiches, cake, scones with jam and cream, and a truffle. Although the vegan cream is not whipped, it's fantastic that they offer it. They always have a vegan cake available, so even if you just stop by for coffee and cake, you'll have options. The cakes are locally sourced and the tea menu is extensive, organized by different types of teas. The tea house is located in the picturesque Penylan area near the gardens. Unfortunately, Happycow doesn't allow me to give this place 5 stars, but it truly deserves it. It surpasses many vegetarian restaurants.
The vegan options were decent. The cakes were beautiful and I didn't feel left out while dining with others. I would have liked a non-soy milk alternative, but that's just my personal preference. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I will definitely return.
