Mary Brown's Fried Chicken - Carbonear

While Mary Brown's is to Newfoundland what Tim's coffee is to Canada, the consistency of their chicken throughout the island is lacking. In St. John's it's pretty good however, when you get in to Outport communities, their chicken tends to be dry and inconsistent.

Sadly, Mary Brown's is no longer near us in southern Ontario. So we had to treat ourselves once while in Newfoundland. As always, the chicken was very tasty, and so were the onion rings. Greasy of course, but thats all part of the indulgent Mary...Brown's experience.

What can I say I just love Mary browns. You know when you go there you are going to get that same taste you had the last time. There chicken is big in portion and taters are always fresh. For the price it's pretty good. Now they have drive-thru and that's great when you are in a hurry. The drive-thru is fast and they always get it right.
