Heidi's Brooklyn Deli - Carbondale

Good sandwich! So many decisions, but there are good things. Bonus: the bread I make fresh every day

Stopped at Heidi’s on my way to Aspen for a complete and total send of a weekend. Homie behind the counter recommended what I expected to be a very bland egg sandwich. What I didn’t expect was my mind to be completely blown by both the tastiness of the sandwich, and the incredible service. First bite of this sandwich took my tastebuds to heaven with a side trip to paradise. I ordered exactly what the chief artist in charge recommended, which turned out to be both a positive and negative experience. Positive, because I had the best egg salad sandwich this side of the Mason Dixon. Negative, because I don’t think another egg salad will ever compare to what I experienced here today. Do yourself a favor and stop in Heidi’s.

Heidi's has great fresh lunchtime sandwiches. Service is quick but not too quick, and the ingredients are better than most. Soup Bread bowls are especially good on a winter day.

I'm personally not huge fan of deli sandwhich spots but I stopped in at the recommendation of a local. Ordered hell's kitchen toasted, this was a DAMN good sandwhich. The potato salad side was pretty small, but the sandwhich was big, and they loaded it up. Usually you expect teens behind the counter to be rude or uninterested, but Marcus and Sage were friendly and helpful, give those kids a raise. I was having a frustrating day and this whole experience picked me up.

Awesome sandwiches! We get them for lunch whenever we can. Food is always great and the customer service is second to none! Hell 's Kitchen is soooo good! Best deli, ever!
