Paige’s B.b.q. Place - Carbon Hill

If there were a way to give no star, I would. This place was great when Freddy owned it. Whoever the girl is that owns it now, purposely tried to overcharge us $10.00 for our meal. I gave her 3 chances to make it right, even asking for an itemized receipt for tax purposes, in which she wrote down the items with no prices and just a total. I finally got my 10 dollars but she lost a customer. And we had tipped her 23% !!! I hate it to because the food was pretty good (Freddy was cooking) and we live super close. But a couple things I can not deal with are liars and thieves. Keep your eyes on your pocketbook if you go in this place. She told us she was the owner. Good luck lady.

Good food. Great service . Cash or checks only. Tea was fresh. Boiled whole shrimp was fresh. Also had the BBQ and country style ribs. Bbq was good but the ribs were WOW! No sauce needed. Worth a trip thru the woods.

Service sucks food sucks..... potato salad comes from walmart.... they always run out of food
