The cocktails were innovative and delicious. Prices although high are great value for the quality of food and drink. Service was polite, friendly and quick. The restaurant allows pets and the staff were very loving to our cocker Spaniel.
Petisco Kitchen and Bar at the Goa hotel is a culinary gem that left a lasting impression on me. The restaurant's ambiance is chic and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The menu offers a tantalizing array of dishes, each expertly crafted with a blend of flavors that showcase the culinary artistry of the chefs. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge about the menu enhanced the overall enjoyment of my meal. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Petisco is a must-visit for those seeking a fusion of delectable cuisine and a stylish dining atmosphere in Goa.
Must Go Place in Panjim, Goa Petisco is just plain simple FABULOUS . If you are in Panjim, Goa, you must go there. If you are in North Goa,you should go there. If you are in South Goa,you should go there. If you are not in Goa, you should go to Goa and go there. So, I went there knowing that it's an award winning restaurant and with high expectations; yet I was pleasantly surprised. Decor and lighting Very minimal, just about right. Lighting is done very strategically......good for both taking the food pictures and for seeing what you are eating. Music During my visit I heard no music. Not did I miss listening to it. It felt right. Wheelchair Accessibility Not wheelchair accessible....both the parking and restaurant. I generally give a star less if the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible but I've gone ahead and given this restaurant 5 stars......I hope the Dhuri brothers take note and make a provision for our specially abled friends. Service Sanad, attended to us and was extremely polite, attentive and knowledgeable. He made sure that we understood what we were eating. The order to table time for the starters, drinks and dessert was less than 10 mins. However, the main course took around 15 mins. Drinks I had ordered the Ultimate G&T and the Old Tom's G&T. Ultimate G&T was too good. Old Tom's G&T with strawberries was good as well but not as good as the former. Food Portion sizes are just right. Very competitively priced. Portion size allows patrons to have a 3 course meal and yet not feel bloated and full as well. I had roasted beetroot and poached pear, assorted mushrooms, herb and nut crusted pollenta and barre de chocolat. Everything was too good especially the pollenta and the poached pears. Keep it up Team Petisco. Manifesting my visit to Goa.
Petisco is a Tapas Restaurant, which serves small plates. We tried a few plates, some of which were very good, while others failed to create a mark. The cocktail was so-so. We tried a couple of items from the Christmas Menu. I would give Prawn A LA Plancha 5 out of 5. Chimichurri I would give 3.5/5. I had heard a lot of about this place and wanted to try for a long time. We had a family sitting next to us who were annoying and on the next table we had a couple of kids who were playing around our table. The fries were a hit. Hands Down one of the best item. We had a Strawberry and Crema and we liked it,
This fine eatery is surely run by people with a passion for creating dishes that blend global techniques with local produce. The cocktails cover the gamut from subtle to strong. My wife’s Mezcal Margarita was smoky and punchy. I was driving and stayed with tonic water. Mussels were delicately steamed doused with a miso butter sauce. Coconut crusted calamaris rested on a bed of salsa. The bbq pork was simply divine perfectly grilled, tender, not needlessly sweet. We finished off with pan fried mackerel sitting atop a local variety of small cooked potatoes, nicely fried fish fillets, fennel, pepper slivers and a beurre sauce poured at your table. Splendid!
