Although it is beautiful the kitchen was not wonder that (except for black mailino), Then the waiter was rude, exorbitant prices to eat something cooked in an average way
My girlfriend and I came from Formia to try chef Ciro's kitchen. Recommended by the very kind Pasquale we ate from the appetizer to the dessert of the real specialties. Some dishes will be difficult to forget. First, the stuffed bazaars of mozzarella with seafood, based on Neapolitan tarallo. I think it's one of the first tasty dishes I've ever eaten. Then excellent the polyp to the ischitana and superb dessert (a semifreddo to rum). Another specialty with a special taste is the homemade pig iced with honey and chocolate and cooked 48 hours. Considering the wonderful setting of the estate where the restaurant is located I can only conclude by saying that I had a wonderful evening. Congratulations.
Every time I eat at the Retrovo, in an intimate room with an atmosphere that envelops wellness, it is a surprise. Every time I say, I never ate it! Unexpected combinations for a always soft and inviting taste. Architect for creating an inimitable corner of beauty and refinement.
I do a job that necessarily takes me from Bolzano to Sciacca and from Santulussurgiu to Porto San Giorgio (North/South/East/West). Therefore I am forced to stop, to feed and sleep, in places and premises, which can sometimes truly represent a surprise. Well, I had to stop for lunch with my wife and instead I stayed 2 days. A lovely place, between roses and olive trees, gazebo and swimming pool, green and rural silence. First restaurant, excellent food, sophisticated or homemade, school staff and available. Great education. Friendly and courtesy welcome, by the two owners, the brothers Enzo and Franco di Cecio. A real oasis of peace. I'll come back to celebrate 52 years of career on September 28th. Hi. Extremely courteous staff, excellent cuisine and wonderful park. At the end of the lunch there were donated roses just picked up by the wonderful rose garden behind the pond.
