Went there tonight for our wedding anniversary. The service was very slow, we had to ask for more water three times, our server was nice but not very attentive, the table behind us were treated like royalty. We ordered the veal parmigiana, to share, the veal was like shoe leather, it was so thin and tough, the cheese was extremely salty, I had three bites and couldn’t finish my very small portion. Although we were told there was no room to dine inside the restaurant, most of the tables were empty from the time we arrived until the time we left. We dined on the patio at the back, which was quite nice, for us, if you are not bothered by mosquitos. I would not recommend this restaurant.
My girlfriend her pasta was good but for me i had the lasagna and its one of the worst i ever taste, very bad, tomato sauce ouach,
This restaurant is built around an old Quebec manor house. You can see the original small home with low ceilings and fireplace, and how so much space has been added around it, including terraces. We were surprised that an Italian restaurant would have a French name but that is why. It is lit up beautifully at night and coming upon it all lit up is lovely. It seats many people and seems to be a neighbourhood hub. Staff was welcoming and friendly throughout the meal. We enjoyed the escargot, Veal Marsala and the Salmon with the best Risotto I’ve ever had. Tiramisu was delicious. We would return.
The dishes are very expensive and very small with the excuse of the corona virus, everything, even a little cheese on the spaghetti they charge an additional fee of 2 !!! (I want to restaurants in this pandemic and it was not like that at all) the menu is very limited I would not go back there!
