Pippo Anza' - CAPO D'ORLANDO

This family restaurant and hotel is a must visit location! The food was so nice, and they had the best basil pesto I have ever tasted in my life. We also got really refreshing lemon drinks, which was so nice in the heat. The service was also very good, and the location was so beautiful! You really need to go here to experience all of this, it was incredible!

We went out of our way to Taormina to stop at this restaurant after reading reviews. It was a bit hard to find GPS took us out of the way, but it was a beautiful, panoramic detour. The chef greeted us immediately upon arrival and suggested fresh pasta with pistachio and guanciale for our kids. It came immediately and was devoured. So delicious!! The insalata di mare was incredible very fresh and a larger portion than expected. My husband had the antipasto di mare misto, which was also wonderful and quite a large portion. The pesci fritti was fried perfectly. All in all, a wonderful lunch with extremely fresh food, a wonderful host and great service. Grazie!!

We dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago. From start to finish, everything was amazing and the quality was top-notch. Pippo and his wife are great hosts. We will definitely go again on our next trip to Sicily. As a side note, we also viewed the self-contained apartment accommodation above the restaurant. There are three apartments of different sizes. The apartments are new and AMAZING. The attention to detail is first class and if not for having our own accommodation in Brolo, we would definitely stay here. The ocean views are spectacular.
