Tacos Moreno - Capitola

It's not my #1 Mexican restaurant in town, but it's always good and consistent, id say it's one of the top clubs in town. It is a family business, very friendly and great customer service. They have high quality ingredients and a few beers on tap. Definitely a good place for lunch or dinner.

Our family came here after being badly treated by the staff in Zelda's (restaurant next to Tacos Moreno). The guy on the front greeted us and served us the most delicious Mexican food I've ever had. He was even nice enough to let my younger siblings eat pizza from another store because they are picky eaters. Your Taco salad is so good. I wish they had more seats to accommodate the many customers who want to eat here. If you happen to be in the area, I recommend eating here with your family.

We love this institution! Some of the best Burritos and Tacos ever! Family business and great customer relationships. You can't beat salsa, always consistent! A must stop when you go in the neighborhood or it!

Worth a visit. Would be a favorite if we lived nearby. We had Carnitas Taco salad, beef nachos and a Carnitas flour tortilla. All very tasty and good portions at the price.

A good experience every time with service you can count on! Tacos Morenos is one of the go-to taquerias in Santa Cruz, whether it be the Capitola location or Water Street in Santa Cruz. I highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t already. It is cash only, but no need to line your pockets too much. The food is affordable and you get a nice portion.
