Nothing Bundt Cakes - Capitola

I’m not sure if the frosting team is undertrained, but every single cake I’ve seen from this place has had a complete frosting disaster. The petals are all over the place, uneven, and it looks downright messy. I used to work at a bundt cake shop in Las Vegas, and a cake that looked this bad would have never left the table, let alone make it into someone's home for a birthday celebration. I’ll be posting this review on Yelp, along with pictures to show just how hilariously terrible the frosting is. If it were just one cake, I could understand that mistakes happen. However, three out of three cakes looking like this clearly indicates that their frosting team needs better training.

I ordered some bundtinis for my friend's birthday because she really loves them! They were scheduled to be delivered between 11 AM and 2 PM today, but it's now past 4 PM and they still haven't arrived. The store mentioned they are busy and couldn't provide an estimated delivery time. I also had to call several times just to get someone to answer the phone. I'm really frustrated with this situation.

They have a wide range of flavors, with my favorites being the carrot and marble cakes. The icing is outstanding; you can genuinely taste the richness of the cream cheese, and each cake has just the perfect amount. They offer different sizes, including 10-inch and 8-inch cakes, as well as individual servings and mini cupcake versions! You can also purchase balloons and cards here. And make sure to try a sample while you're at it!

I'm giving this restaurant a full 5 stars, and it's all thanks to GSR Lexie! She was incredibly helpful and guided me through all the flavors and options, especially since I was clueless about what to choose. Lexie was exceptionally friendly and nice, providing 10/10 customer service. I would definitely buy a cake from her any day!

The cakes are light and fluffy, moist and absolutely delicious, and the cream cheese frosting is truly irresistible! I adore the mini bundt cakes; they are perfect for any occasion!
