Agostino's Italian - CAPISTRANO BEACH

I don't know why this restaurant has so many great reviews, but this is definitely not an authentic Italian cuisine. We were fine with a bigger group and the lady who served us, but that was friendly. My husband and I ordered a sprite that tasted like water, but at least they replaced it. The pizza was okay, but my husband ordered the spaghetti-Carbonara and we never had such a bad version of it: where peas in it and we were pretty sure that the meat was from the can!! We were not even able to identify the meat type, but it was definitely not a bacon. The soup didn't taste good either.

Love it! Only open for dinner and it's great to enjoy the dinner, the sunset and a drink. Delicious Entrée and delicious desserts.

The lower rating that led to 4.4 stars I have no doubt that there are people with palette or emotional that nothing would please them. My Ravioli Montecarlo was spectacularly good I have a stomach of a coyote and usually I get heartburn from super fine dishes, but not from this. Italian food is hard, as easy as it is. I got no chance to make a picture because I was blinded, but to post a picture of my own pasta from scratches with Italian tomatoes. It's as good as it looks. So I am not an olive garden usual to over good lol

Had a wonderful dinner celebrating my birthday with my wife. The eggplant parmesan I had was great and the lasagna my wife had. Our server Lisa was super nice and attentive. The outdoor terrace was also great. We finished dinner with the tiramisu and the spumoni cake and they were delicious. We'll definitely come back if we're ever back in this area.

Ate at the bar area with Mia as the bartender and it was amazing. Not only was she sweet and kind, but the food was fantastic. I'm bummed out they are closed on Mondays, but I'm here another few nights where I can enjoy the food
