Bacini's Pizzeria Deli - Cape Town

Wonderful experience. Quality food. Good service. Pizza in a wood fire pizza oven. The location at the foot of the Lions Heads at the top of the city shell is excellent. We had a nice summer dinner.

I had a wonderful time starting with three courses at Bacini: mushroom arancini, a three-meat pizza for the main, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious, but the pizza was definitely the highlight. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food this year.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with options for indoor dining or seating on the terrace. The terrace features glass walls that provide protection from the weather while offering a lovely view of Lion's Head. The Bolognese pasta was delicious, and the caramel cheesecake with a hint of peppermint was truly heavenly. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was excellent. My waiter, Kelvin, was particularly attentive. I will definitely return when I'm in Cape Town.

My friends from Cape Town are convinced that Bacinis serves the best Italian food in the city, and they are right. The essence of the dishes on this menu lies in honoring simple ingredients and staying true to the rich, hearty flavors of Italian cuisine. The result is a meal that feels like it’s prepared with love, far surpassing anything they could make in their own kitchen.
