The Red Store - Cape May Point

I found this restaurant while reading Edible Jersey, and I made a plan to visit when I was in town with my family. It was a short drive, but definitely worth it! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the brunch was fantastic! A couple of standout dishes we enjoyed were the Red Store Pancake and the butter cake drizzled with dulce de leche sauce.

Everything you could wish for in a dining experience! This casual restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a talented kitchen staff that presents a delightful surprise tasting menu of 6-8 courses. Each dish is thoughtfully curated, starting with delicious little bread bites and empanadas, followed by crudo and ceviche, and then the roasted Caraflex kohl. You'll also enjoy a small helping of corn pudding and a refreshing intermezzo before diving into the main course, which has a hint of sweetness, complemented by coffee for dessert. The atmosphere here is lively, so much so that we returned for breakfast! The breakfast was just as enjoyable! Do yourself a favor and try everything on the menu to savor the subtle flavors in each dish. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!

I always enjoy a delicious meal here, and it’s served quickly too. The smoothies and teas are fantastic. One of my favorites is the Cubano sandwich—it has great taste and texture, and the fries are delicious! We also tried the smoked salmon on whole grain bread with capers and cream fresh, and I savored every bite!

My husband and I went to breakfast and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and good food. Steak bacon, eggs, fruit salad and Spanish potatoes with a cappuccino was delicious. Very recommended The Red Store!
