Provence - Cape May Court House

The meal was exquisite, and the tasting menu is an experience that everyone should try.

This is one of my favorite restaurants by the shore. Nothing else comes close. The innovative prix fixe menu changes every month and offers a generous amount of food—so don’t be concerned based on your first course. The option to bring your own wine makes it even better, allowing you to find perfect pairings for each dish. The service is exceptional. It’s always a fantastic culinary experience!

The duck was outstanding, but the waffle had an unusual flavor, reminiscent of pumpkin pie spice and some kind of savory herb. I think the croque madame would have been better if served in the traditional style rather than on a croissant. The bread service was great, though it felt a bit awkward with four people at the table and only two of each bread option. Our server was wonderful, with a delightful personality and a beautiful voice. However, the coffee and cookies were brought out before our plates had been cleared. We had to request that the table be cleared. While it was a lovely touch to celebrate a birthday with a special plate and a sweet serenade, we were still in the middle of our brunch! Although we're unlikely to return for brunch, we're very eager to come back for their fantastic dinner.

Dining at Provence was an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was lovely, service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely return, and will recommend it to others.
