Marco's Pizza - Cape Girardeau

The food here is quite good, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff should be trained on handling phone calls and respecting people's time better.

Update! It used to be the best budget pizza place in town for takeout. However, during my last two orders, I noticed that all the toppings are piled in the center, leaving more than half of the pizza as crust. If I wanted mostly crust, I would just buy breadsticks. I think it's time to look for another pizza place.

I hadn't ordered from Marco's in several months but decided to give them a try tonight. The pizza was okay, but it wasn't what it used to be. There was quite a lot of bare crust on the edges. When I got home and opened the boxes, I was reminded why we had stopped ordering for a while. They don’t seem to pay much attention to special instructions, even if you include them with your order. We always prefer our pizza cut into squares instead of the traditional slices. Unfortunately, we've picked up many pizzas from the Cape Girardeau location that weren't cut squared as requested. Tonight, one pizza was cut into squares while the other was not. The one that was cut traditionally was cold and clearly had been sitting out for a while.

They are really great. Food is awesome and guys always go above and beyond.

They forgot part of the order, but they did rectify the situation for the next time.
