Applebee's Grill - Cape Girardeau

Food was ok service was lacking. I would not recommend going here if you are on a time limit. They will take your drink order and 30 minutes later they may show up. Then ask you for your order and not check on you until the order is ready so drink very slowly.

Not real pleased with my visit there this afternoon! Took them about a half an hour or more just to get us some shrimp and riblets. Had to get my own silverware. Then food was finally brought they did not have slaw. Waitress said they just ran out as she was going to get some. I was kind of upset about this and I'm sure she could tell so about 10 minutes later a man came out with some. Hot mess!! Food was burnt to a crisp on all our meals, server was in training and the trainee didn't know the menu and we were overcharged. The dining area was filthy and trashed. Very disappointed.

When I last went it was very cold inside and the table was very sticky. Only saw the server when we ordered food and paid. It took about 15 minutes before she would come and check us out. The food was the only thing I was impressed with.

Attentive wait staff, but food service was slow. We went in for the all you can eat riblets, boneless wings, and shrimp.
