The Omelet Shop - Cape Coral

We arrived and were surprised how empty it was for a Saturday morning just before new years but we’re happy not to wait. Our party of 6 were greeted nicely by hostess and waitress and service was good. Unfortunately the food was not even warm, Benedict’s were very difficult to cut through muffins with knife, sausage and gravy was rubbery as if had been under warmer for considerable time. Very surprised that the breakfast was so poor as had not been our experience over last 3-4 visits.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich, I do not recommend.

I came in for breakfast with a gift card that I won at a charity event. There was no expiration date and the owner refused to accept the gift card. This is just bad business. The food was greasy and not good anyhow! Cape Coral is a small community where you should stand behind your word. There was no reason to not honor the gift card. I will never come back and hope all my friends see this review.
