Cape Charles Coffee House

I've always had the best croissant, and I had many croissants in baltimore. (apricot and chocolate) breakfast sandwich, e.g. too cheesy and buttery for me. and ice cream not the best I ever had. but damn it. croissants worth it.

The service was terrible and we were there at a slow time with plenty of staff on hand. The food is overpriced and just ok. Our waitress forgot half of what we ordered and never apologized. The building is so beautiful and the place has so much potential but the atmosphere was very weird-no music playing, staff that looked like don’t want to to be there etc. Judging by recent reviews this place seems to be having some issues. We ordered simple things-just a couple of bfast sandwiches and coffees. Sadly, we don’t recommend it.

The food was fine but the restaurant is so understaffed it is uncomfortable to be there. We never got some of the items we requested (cream for coffee and ice waters). They won’t let you order at the counter, but it takes 10+ minutes to even be greeted at your table. Waitress was miserable managing 12+ tables with only one person helping run food. It honestly felt like we were a burden to be there. I felt so bad for her. They need at least 3 wait staff for this sized establishment. I won’t come back and would feel awkward recommending it to anyone.

This place is pretty cool. They have a lot of items on display to showcase it's history and have a lovely selection of food. We went for breakfast and loved it!

Excellent brekfast. Cant say enought good things about the food.
