Mike's - Cape Carteret

Mike's in now Mark's! Mark's has diner style food. Good place for breakfast. Just a reasonable place to eat. Saturday and Sunday there's a breakfast buffet with French toast, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles and fruit.

My wife and I had breakfast this morning and the food and service was very good. Coffee was good, pancakes were excellent and the eggs and grits were good too. The name of the restaurant is now MARK’S instead of Mike’s.

This place is Amazing, good ole country breakfast food. Went there the 1st time got the buffet. Had plenty of options. Next time I go there probably will be tomorrow or Sunday, but I'm going to try the steak and eggs.

Don't get the chocolate chip pancake special for 6.50 as it is just two pancakes with chocolate chips, no sides. They charge $2 for chocolate chips. Food is okay. Price is otherwise reasonable. $47 for party of 5. It's not Mike's anymore it's Mark's.

We tried this place for the first time today. I must say, we were greeted quickly and nicely. Our waitress was wonderful. I'll go with a bad here, it could use an upgrade all around and some better cleaning, however, the food made me forget all about it. Cooked the way I needed and tasted fresh and hot. We'll definitely be back because I can't pass them up again. Keep up the good work I say. Now I know why you were so packed in there. Great service and food isn't easy to find.
